ATLANTA -- More than 400 Best Buy stores around the nation, including two in Metro Atlanta, are set to open their doors at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday to begin selling Halo: Reach, the new title in Microsoft's Xbox 360 series.

The higly-promoted video game is a prequel to the science fiction action series with the story of a team of Spartans facing what promotional materials call "impossible odds" to save lives through their "great sacrifice and courage."

The game is rated "M" (Mature) and Best Buy says their associates will be checking IDs and will not sell the title to people under the age of 17.

Fans are expected to line up at the Alpharetta (975 North Point Drive, near North Point Mall) and Midtown (1201 Caroline Street, in the Edgewood Shopping District) stores beginning at 10:30 p.m. Monday.
