ATLANTA -- The Atlanta Braves, coaches and broadcasters will travel 3,000 miles over the southeast during the 2013 Country Caravan, set for January 22 through February 2.
During the trip, the team will meet and greet fans as they get ready for Spring Training for the 2013 Major League season, according to Mackenzie Anderson, Public Relations Coordinator for the Braves.
The Country Caravan is presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors. During the two weeks of travel, players can speak with fans in hopes of creating memories at each stop. Anderson said the Caravan is set to make community appearances and hold autograph signings.
"We look forward to our annual Braves Country Caravan as a time to provide our fans throughout the Southeast an opportunity to interact with our manager, coaches and players and to express our gratitude for their loyalty and support," Atlanta Braves President John Schuerholz said. "This is one special way we can show our appreciation to some of the most passionate and dedicated baseball fans in the world."
The Caravan will travel through Atlanta, surrounding communities and other parts of Georgia on January 22 - 25, January 28, January 31 and February 2.
