ATLANTA, Ga. – This week, Dinners on a Dime features local Cinco de Mayo eats. Every Tuesday Where U Live will choose four favorite eats in your area for you to take your family and friends for a fabulous meal, under $20.

It’s almost Cinco de Mayo in Atlanta and Noche is the place to be. The restaurant will be hosting a block party and offering $5 select tapas, $3 draught Dos Equis, $5 Cuervo margaritas, $7 Sinless Margaritas and $2 Tacatas. Noche is a popular Spanish restaurant amongst ITP dwellers. Visit the restaurant at 1000 Virginia Avenue NE in Atlanta or at its Vinings and Brookhaven locations.

Meehan’s Public House will also host a party at their downtown location. All drinks will be on special for $6 except the margarita which is $7. Select meals will be on special, all night. Meehan’s is located at 180 Peachtree Street in Atlanta.

All Atlanta area Tin Lizzy’s locations will be hosting their first ever Cinco de Mayo Bash. The restaurant will be roping off side streets and will be offering multiple bars, food stations, music and chips, salsa and queso. Tin Lizzy’s locations can be found online here.

Pozole and Limerick Junction will be hosting their 4th Annual Cinco de Mayo Celebration and Block Party. For $5 guests can enjoy authentic Mexican food, a beer and Margarita bar, live music, a piñata contest and a hot pepper eating contest. The block party will be held in the parking lot between the restaurants and the entrance is located off of Greenwood Avenue.

Come out and party with the people at La Parrilla for their Cinco de Mayo fiesta. The patio will be in full swing with a live DJ, drink specials, prizes and more, the restaurant was voted “Best of Citysearch” in 2008 and 2009.  The restaurant has 15 locations in the Atlanta area and serves some of the best margaritas in town. Go visit El Azteca Mexican Restaurant which boats “Atlanta’s Best Margaritas”. Since they opened in 1992, the restaurant has been a mainstay in the Poncey-Highland neighborhood. The patio will be open and the restaurant is planning their "biggest party of the year" for Cinco de Mayo. Visit them at 939 Ponce De Leon in Atlanta.
