UHY LLP adds Melanie Baer as Business Development Manager in Atlanta office | Business
ATLANTA -- UHY LLP today announced the appointment of Melanie Baer as Business Development Manager.
Melanie will be based in the Atlanta office, serving UHY clients nationwide. She is responsible for business development and client service as part of the Resource Solutions team and reports to Frank Fenello, managing director of the company’s southeast operations.
“Melanie Baer brings a wealth of experience in recruiting and human resources to the table, making her a highly qualified new addition to the UHY team,” said Fenello.
Baer’s professional skills and qualifications include:
- Experience in outside sales, internal sales and financial services
- Managing a territory, generating sales, supervision, marketing liaison, enterprise system liaison, office/team administration, database development/maintenance, job fair coordination, client/customer relations, event planning, accounts payable/accounts receivable and payroll administration
- Educating and training clients and financial advisors through presentations and web seminars
- Certified/trained in Series 7, Series 63, SpeakEasy, Aslan Training, SalesForce and Seibel
Prior to joining UHY, Baer worked for Paychex as a retirement services/pre-tax benefits sales consultant. She also worked as Wells Real Estate as assistant vice president of sales and as a business development specialist, for Kforce Professional Staffing as finance and accounting account manager, for Bear Stearns & Co., Inc. as a registered representative, and for CM Resources as client services manager.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Management/Emphasis in Human Resources Management with a Minor in Psychology from Florida State University. She lives in Alpharetta with her husband Daniel and their two sons.
