Free Dental Clinic

Free Dental Clinic

ALPHARETTA, Ga. -- Free dental clinics have had huge turnouts in the years since the recession made them more common. There's one planned for May 31 in Alpharetta.

Advanced Cosmetic and Family Dentistry
is doing cleanings, extractions, and fillings on a first-come, first-serve basis. The first appointment will begin at 8:30, but patients are told to arrive early and expect a wait. The clinic will serve people 18 years and older who cannot get dental care elsewhere.

Organizers suggest people bring chairs, blankets, and water since the waiting line will be outside and could last for several hours. The first fifty patients in line are guaranteed to be seen. After that, it depends on availability. The event will take place at 4205 North Point Parkway, Building D in Alpharetta.
