ALPHARETTA, Ga. -- The Alpharetta Department of Public Safety is looking for a 16 year old who ran away from home this week.

Jacquon Douglas disappeared at about 3:40 a.m. Thursday. Alpharetta DPS spokesman George Gordon said the teen has only lived in Alpharetta, in the Webb Bridge Road area, for a few days.

Gordon said Douglas may be traveling with another man, and that investigators believe he is actively trying to avoid being found.

Douglas is 5 feet 7 inches tall and 156 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and a light complexion.

Anyone who sees him or has information about his disappearance is asked to call Alpharetta investigators at 678-297-6332.
