North Fulton Ready to Host Film, TV Productions

ATLANTA -- The best time to stoke the flames is when the fire is burning hot.

And that's exactly what North Fulton County is doing.

North Fulton joins 15 other communities across the state in being the first to earn the special designation of "camera ready" by the Georgia Film, Music and Digital Entertainment Office. Being named camera ready means that a county has a program that provides film and television production companies with easier, faster and better access to local resources and location information.

2009 was a banner year for filming in Georgia, with more than 348 productions bringing an estimated $770 million to the state's economy, according to the Georgia Department of Economic Development. Productions were shot in 50 Georgia counties over the course of the year, impacting local communities throughout the state.

Man Arrested After Riding Airport Conveyor Belt

MIAMI, FL -- An Alpharetta man bonded out of jail early Friday, a day after his arrest for climbing onto a moving luggage carousel at Miami International Airport and riding it into a secure area.

Bradley Ray Bromelow got on the luggage carrier at the airport's Concourse J at around 1:30 p.m. Thursday and stayed aboard as it traveled into the airport's operating area.

The 40-year-old, who was waiting for his luggage, allegedly hopped onto the conveyor belt to show off for a friend. As he traveled on the carousel, he videotaped passengers who, in turn, were taping him.

Bromelow was arrested and charged with trespassing. The Transportation Security Administration released a statement saying that it is further investigating the incident to decide if Bromelow should face any civil penalties.

East Paulding is currently tied for fourth in their sub-region, but with Hiram and Pope still on the schedule, the Raiders are not out of the playoff race.

A win over 6-1 Hiram will not come easy for East Paulding. The Hornets have looked impressive in each of their six wins and their only loss is to undefeated Kell.
