ALPHARETTA, Ga. -- The $7.8 million expansion at King's Ridge Christian School has been completed.

Choate Construction Company recently finished building the new high school and Kendrick Center for Life.

Company president Millard Choate said he and his team enjoyed being part of the project.

"It has been a pleasure and we are thrilled to turn over these buildings to serve the greater good of the school and the community," Choate said in a statement.

King's Ridge's new high school will serve about 300 students. The building includes science labs, an art room, a ceramics room and a music room.

The school's Kendrick Center for Life provides students with a gathering place and meeting areas where they can participate in Christian life activities and undergo guidance to prepare for college.

"As King's Ridge continues its steady expansion, we look forward to working again with a school that seeks such excellence in their facilities to better serve students, families and faculty," Choate said.
