ATLANTA -- The winners of the 2012 AJC Peachtree Road Race participant lottery were announced Monday.

If you weren't chosen, you still have plenty of other opportunities to run, jog, walk and enjoy a race day in the next few months.

The race begins at 8 a.m. at the University of Georgia Stegeman Coliseum. Registration is $20; this race benefits the UGA Speech and Hearing Clinic.

The race begins at 10 a.m. on the Dunwoody campus of Georgia Perimeter College. Registration is $25; this race benefits Am Yisrael Chai!, a Holocaust education program.

The race begins at 9 a.m. at Yahoola Creek Park, and dogs on leashes are more than welcome to participate. Registration is $20; this race benefits the TLC Humane Society, a no-kill animal shelter in Dahlonega.
