Transportation Officials to Hold Georgia 400 Open House

ALPHARETTA, GA -- On Wednesday, Jan. 5, transportation officials will hold one of five Georgia 400 Corridor Improvement Projects Open Houses at the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce (11605 Haynes Bridge Road, Alpharetta, 30009).

The meetings are designed to determine which new projects should be funded along the Georgia 400 corridor, which includes the Windward Parkway entrance near Milton.

The money for the projects comes as a result of a September 2010 Georgia State Road and Tollway Authority (SRTA) and Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) vote to extend the ground lease for the Georgia 400 Toll Road and its 50 cent toll for up to 10 years.
