Charity Polo Match and Autumn Fete

On October 31st, at noon, Tomorrow’s Luminaries Foundation will host their Inaugural Polo Match & Autumn Fête at Chukkar Farm Polo Club in Alpharetta, GA. The event will feature complimentary wine, champagne, and an exquisite dessert bar. This Derby-inspired event will have contests for the best hat, best picnic, and best cocktail. All of the proceeds from the event will go directly towards the Foundation’s programs to help brighten the future of Atlanta’s young people.

Tomorrow’s Luminaries Foundation was founded by two Georgia Tech undergraduate students, Kelli C. Stancil and Matthew Carson. Both students started the foundation with the vision of it becoming a catalyst that promotes a socially conscious, robust agenda for under-represented youth. The Foundation provides students with a holistic approach to leadership and literacy through two distinct programs, Leadership for Tomorrow and the Family Literacy Program.

Leadership for Tomorrow (L4T) is a mentoring program that unites 9th grade students with exceptional college students to engage the principals of leadership through the enhancement of academic performance, professional development, public speaking, and philanthropy.

The Family Literacy Program (FLP) is a program that offers evening and weekend classes to families of elementary, middle, and high school students. The program is designed to combat poverty through the development of relevant skill sets.

Tickets for this event can be purchased at www.tomorrowsluminaries.org/polo.
