Firemen Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-A

ALPHARETTA, GA -- The Chick-fil-A restaurant at Alpharetta Commons is hosting a Firemen Appreciation Day on Saturday, Sept. 18 in honor of the dedicated firefighters working to keep the Alpharetta community safe.

The restaurant will donate 50 cents of every Chick-fil-A Spicy Chicken Sandwich sold on the 18th to the Alpharetta Fire Department's Boot Drive. The Boot Drive will benefit the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation.

During Firemen Appreciation Day, Chick-fil-A will feature interactive activities for children in its parking lot from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., including an inflatable castle and a mobile fire education house courtesy of the Alpharetta Fire Department. Large, plush Chick-fil-A "Eat Mor Chikin" Cows in firemen uniforms will also be raffled off to benefit the Alpharetta Fire Department.

"It is very fulfilling to help the men and women who put their lives on the line for the residents of Alpharetta raise money for such an important cause," said franchise operator John Moraitakis. "We hope our customers will come out in large numbers to support the Alpharetta Fire Department."

Similar to this fundraising effort, the Chick-fil-A restaurants at Alpharetta Commons, Windward Parkway and North Point Parkway helped to raise more than $250 for the Johns Creek Fire Department at a community event in June.

The Chick-fil-A at Alpharetta Commons is located at 4285 State Bridge Road in Alpharetta, 30022. For more information, visit www.cfarestaurant.com/alpharettacommons or call 770-521-2132.
