5 Fulton students win National Achievement Scholarship | Schools

FULTON COUNTY, Ga. -- Five seniors at four Fulton County high schools have been named recipients of the 2013 National Achievement Scholarship.
The program gives $2,500 college scholarships to some of the country's best and brightest African-American high school students every year.
To qualify for the scholarships, students must earn very high scores on the Preliminary SAT, which they take as juniors.
Roughly 700 students receive the scholarship money every year.
